Born in Milwaukee, WI, and raised in Memphis Tanisha Brimley has been in the hair industry for a  decade and continues to shake things up in the natural hair world! Licensed for 10 years, her perpetuity in cosmetology is ensured by her creativity and innovative styles.  After gaining experience at the Nappy by Nature Hair Company,  Brimley then decided to enhance and fine tune her skills as a natural hair Artist.  In 2010, Brimley attended Pyramid Beauty School and furthered her education at the Plaza Beauty Institution in 2014, where she became a licensed cosmetologist.

With greater expectations and a "don't quit" mindset; in 2017 Brimley then became a Sisterlock  trainee and received her Natural Hair Instructor Certification.  From student to now teacher, Tanisha Brimley avows the mentorship of the well known Pearl Deva Walker of Legacy Locks and Natural Styles as well as others who have helped her along the way.
 
Ms. Tanisha Brimley is one of the most sought out Natural Hair Stylist in Memphis, TN and Shelby County. She has gained notoriety via the Commercial Appeal, Fox 13 news and V101.1 FM radio. She also held the crown of RBG Natural Cutie Pageant winner in 2012.

In her spare time,  Brimley is active in her community through the WINGS program for domestic violence victims, and serves as a mentor liason for the Butterfly Program Mid South.

In conclusion, she is now the proud owner of Good Vybes Hair Studio. Her services  include natural styles, color, sisterlocks tm and a plethora of other services.
